Ashurst Wood Village Centre is a registered charity (number 277827) set up to provide and maintain a village hall for the benefits of the residents of Ashurst Wood and surrounding areas. The charity is run by a team of Trustees, who look after the hall and take bookings.

The Trustees lease the Village Centre from Ashurst Wood Village Council, which purchased the freehold from the Church of England in 2009. A separate extension was added to the Centre during 2015-2016. This houses the Village Council’s office and meeting room.

A number of classes and activities take place during the day and evening. The hall is also available for private hire and is ideal for meetings, parties, dances, wedding receptions, exhibitions etc.
